Sunday Board Gaming! ... With O.O.T.S.?!

HEYYYYYYYYYY it's time again!
Bring a couple of your board/card games and let's have some fun. We're staying from 1pm to 5pm. My hubby and I are bringing these ....

----Imaginiff (a fun, easy get-to-know-you social game, 3-8 players)
http://www.amazon.com...
----Ticket to Ride (cool, clever and easy to play, 2-5 players)
http://www.amazon.com...
----AND...Order of The Stick (awesome!! AKA "O.O.T.S.")
http://www.apegames.c...

------------

So, I was thinkin, here's ideas on getting our complex games running more smoothly.

Some of us are afflicted with chronic lateitis. Do not fear! I use this CURE:
1. Subtract driving time from 1pm, I.E. 30 minutes. Add 15 more minutes, therefore leave at 12:15.
2. Answer phone, eat burrito, forget car keys, etc, for 15 min.
3. Start drivin'
4. HOLY TIME TRAVEL, BATMAN! It's 1pm and I'm here!

Ha ha hope that made you laugh. But I am trying to maximize the fun quotient for our game teachers. It's hard working players into the middle of a game, and it's sad leaving people out. :(

So arrive and get your vote on what to play! If you're LATE, you gotta WAIT. Some people get in on a second game, starting around 3pm. :)

Lastly, a friendly reminder, Gabi's Shop closes at 6pm on Sunday. So let's be ready, to start putting our games away at 5pm. It can take awhile!

--Special stuff Regarding OOTS--
Since you guys sounded enthused about playing OOTS...I'd love to be your dungeon mistress again, but uhhhh. If you want to play this, please, please show up at 1pm. Is that cool for you? Otherwise we prolly ain't playin this one. Seriously, dude. It's a 3-4 hour MINIMUM game. I'll probably have to squish the dungeon size just to speed up the game, and allot for "newbie explanation time". But hey, a smaller dungeon is better than NOT killing the uber-sorcerer at the bottom, right?!

Please also know that there's 5 available players for this game. I know a couple noodlists wanna play again. But also, a Roleplayers group emailed me, wanting to play. So, you might want to double-RSVP, just for this game. Email me!

There's a reward to come on time! If you're first to show... you'll get first choice on a player character. But Mr. Timely, AKA Nate, may swipe the funniest character, Belkar. Can you beat him to it?!!! *gasp!*

Thanks! We're lookin forward to seein ya.

Hey! Wowie, we gotsda real turn out for playing OOTS. an update. the roleplayers I know rsvped. now, there are: Myself, Cody, Andrew Hanks, Michael, and Jason Heilpern with his wife. Assuming Jason's wife would also like to play, we might be a full 6 OOTS players. Although if a RSVPed OOTS player isn't there to play by 1:10pm, we need to get this big game going, so we may fill the slot with another player. (prolly Stephanie or Angela LOL) Whatever happens we'll likely host it another time. Ciao!

wooooowwwwwww. CAN IT BE POSSIBLE?! This was way more amazingly fun even than LAST time. And we played the same games as last time for the most part, too. LOL LOL. Thanks guys, hoping we'll see you next sunday. Tell your friends about our lil' newfound club, it's awesome. Michael from the roleplayers group won OOTS with the absolutely stupidest Player Character, Elan. And it was all Roy's (my) fault, super ironic. (Inside joke there, sorry) Oh yea and Nate FINALLY one T&E for the first time. That is just epic, dudes. HAIL NATE, HAIL NATE, THE GREAT! \o/ aaaahhh \o/ aaaahhh \o/ aaaahhh \o/ aaaahhh \o/ aaaahhh \o/ aaaahhh \o/ aaaahhh \o/ (said the typography crowd of followers)
