MIJAS is a group of former victims of domestic violence who have gathered together to provide support, job training, employment opportunities, and a safe place for women trying to break the cycle of domestic violence and support their families in a healthy environment. They're also mostly of Mexican descent and use their considerable culinary talents to raise money for their organization.

This event is a 3-course traditional Latin American dinner served at Chica's Catering in downtown Olympia, for the low, low price of $15. No extra charge for the warm fuzzy feeling you'll get for supporting a real grass-roots local social service organization.
