As the (self-proclaimed-unofficial) blackberry publicity person, I'm tellin ya, there's a bumper crop all over the area. One fun place to pick them is by Macintosh lake. There's a patch along the trail 50 feet long and 10 feet high.

Park at the art center. Then rollerblade or bike about 4 miles to the berry patch.

OR, if you want, you can walk to the berry patch. Park at the gravel area by the trail, right next to the intersection of Hwy 507 and Military Road in Tenino. Then walk towards Macintosh lake on the trail, you'll find us at the blackberries at about 6:45pm. If you need help finding this on the map, email me.
