You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
There's this place in downtown Olympia called Warehouse Rock Gym, I've been there once so far and it's pretty fantastic. I hadn't been rock wall climbing since I was like 10, but the staff shows you how to do everything so that really didn't matter. I went with one other person, and it cost us $21 each ($12 for a day pass, $9 for renting equipment...would have been a few bucks less if we'd just used our street shoes though). So, a bit more expensive than other meetups, but it's so much fun!

anybody been or maybe interested in showshoeing? i've never been and I really want to go. There's gotta be some outdoorsy people in the group that would like a fun adventure!
Would anyone like to go to the movies and have some ethnic food sometime?
I've been looking into several routes into doing some sailing. There's the classes, the DIY learning method, private lessons, club membership, etc.
Anyone else interested in learning to sail?
About $90 worth of private lessons will get you into sailing and future access to Catalina 25 rentals. Seems quick and easy?

Hey all, the weather in Thurston Co. sure is awesome lately. I'm looking to schedule a meetup on a Saturday ( or maybe a weeknight ) for some outdoorsy fun on the Chehalis western trail.

What do you think?
This is a great free place to park cars and it's conveniently located in the middle of the trail. http://www.monarchartcenter.org/
Email your comments! How long of a ride should we go on and when?
I sometimes have open volunteering time and am looking for buddies to share it with. Maybe we could talk about hosting a meetup, that would not only be a fun social experience, but also it could help someone out!
Possible places to volunteer are.... senior centers, the state capitol, museums, "friends of the library" clubs, food banks, fund raisers for worthy causes, churches, Harlequin Performance (fun!), art organizations... Anyone have other ideas? Anyone currently involved in a great volunteer activity?
I heard the Southwest fair grounds are looking for volunteers and my family was considering that.
email me at familyfriendfun at yahoo if you want and have fun :)
I'm a professional graphic designer/marketing consultant, so in my free time I'm always doing volunteer art projects, advice to small business entrepreneurial types, etc. Would be happy to either share and just have fun, or volunteer a free class to a group. I know of a cool art park in the area where we could meet up, or you can suggest another fun free public place.
I'm looking for some guys and gals who are interested in any of the following!
creative writing, web comics, scrapbooking, game design, family history genealogy, photography, graphic design, collage/drawing, sculpture ceramics, piano...?
I'm moderately or mildly interested/experienced in all of the above, but what's important is finding like minded nice folks to share with. :) Seeya.
