  •  Hey, thanks for the welcome. Mom figured it was about time I actually joined ^-^; I had a couple of ideas for some meet ups people might enjoy...

  •  Thanks for being so helpful...I'm going to look up the rules on those games, so next time I'll be able to understand what I'm doing LOL. I'm thinking I'll try again next Sunday. See ya there!

  •  Hey again, Eliza. In response to your latest e-mail, yeah, whenever people get together small talk inevitably happens and referrals to other Meetup groups up and down the Sound are common. Learned to play Dominion earlier in the week at the Tacoma Board & Card Games Group at Mark's; it's a great game, haha! Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend.

  •  Eliza, thank you for your kind and warm greeting. Your words validate and feed the dream. I got a rush when I read them.

  •  Hi Eliza,

It was nice to have met you Thursday night. The gentleman who posts the dance info is tunafisdher2003@yahoo,com. If you want to e mail me I will forward you his last email of the dances coming up. Jane [masked]

  •  What do you do when you drop your keys down a drain? You rip out a speaker and get some string and you go fishing...

Nate the Great (Mar 20, 2010 9:04 PM)
  •  You are a little ways, but it seems you have some experience that the group would benefit from. If are are able to come we would love to have you.

  •  Yes! Wonderful introduction Eliza G :) You pretty much need to just show up, step into all that is, dreaming.. baby stepping, and loving the inevitability of it all. And here you are showing up... I love how you step. Welcome to the group Eliza G!

  •  Hi Eliza,

Will the dance lessons be available this week?

  •  Hey, thanks for the Greet, hopefully I'll be able to meet up with you guys soon.

  •  Hi Eliza, I was at Bally's at 7 and the front desk staff didn't know anything about the lesson. It wasn't on their schedule sheet. Sorry!

  •  Hi Eliza, thanks for joining the group. There are definitely other writers and illustrators in attendance at the group. Can't wait to meet you!

  •  Oh, nearly forgot! I've been reading Order of the Stick, and it is fantastic! I'm thinking you might like this webcomic: www.meninhats.com. It doesn't have the fantasy element, but the humor is similar to OOTS, and it's quite ridiculous in its own way.

  •  Yay, thanks! I'm more likely to go to movie and discussion meetups than bicycle ones though, since at the moment I don't have a bike...or a helmet...or the proper leg muscles, lol. But I'll definitely see you at the board game nights!

  •  Eliza, the South Sound Adventure group is planning a ride there tomorrow - http://adventurers.meetup.com/206/cal...

  •  Hi Eliza! I'm new to the group too. Great introduction, by-the-way. Read it once before but our network dropped before I was able to say hello. We're trying to get something together. Please drop by this thread, http://www.meetup.com/Puget-sound-gam..., and tell us what you and your husband think. Thanks.

  •  Welcome aboard! Although being a nerd/geek is not a requirement, it certainly is an asset. I'm trying to cultivate more members and I am envious of your forays into meetup. I think you are spot on about using Gabi's place. Erin (member #2 and my wife) had suggested this off-meetup too. I'll e-mail Gabi momentarily and keep meetup and you posted on developments.
