I'm shamelessly stealing this description from Greg and Carlos's previous posts from the South Sound 20's and 30's Crowd to repost this since I couldn't go the last two times they did this. Everybody had lots of fun doing it and I'm frankly green with envy.
Plagiarizing Carlos's words mode - ON:
It's about time to get our adrenaline fix at Apex Indoor Karting in Tumwater. Plagiarizing Greg's words mode on Apex's go karts can reach speeds of 35 mph! If we have at least 6 people, we'll qualify for a group discount. The two lowest priced packages are, the Rookie Race & Pro Race. The prices and what's included are as follows:
Your first race is FREE if you have never raced at Apex, just print this coupon-

Rookie Race- $25 + $2 for a head sock (required)
One 4 minute practice/qualifying session.
One 8 minute timed race. field set by qualifying session.
($2.25 per minute of racing)
Pro Race- $35 + $2 for a head sock (required)
One 8 minute qualifying session.
One 5 lap qualifier.
One 8 minute position race. Field set by qualifier.
($1.76) per minute of racing)
In your RSVP comment please type either "Rookie Race" or "Pro Race". We'll go with the one that is requested most unless we get 6 plus for "rookie" and 6 plus for "pro." By the way ladies you will look great with helmet hair so don't let that stop you from racing with the boys, unless you're scared hahaha.
Apex Karting also has a cafe you can hang out in that looks out at the track if you don't want to race and their prices are reasonable. You can check out the Apex web site at:
