What: River Tubeing Down the Deschuets

Last minute meetup, due to the nice weather and a few text messages.

A few of us have decided to float down the Deschutes river tomorrow. It's going to be 90 degrees and awesome, because Alex is going to be there. :)

We'll start at Pioneer Park and float down to Tumwater Falls Park.

This is a slow moving river and the float takes about 2 hours. There are a couple of "faster" spots on the river, but nothing too crazy.

However, shoes are necessary.

You can float this river in a tube or inflatable mini raft. Tubes can be bought at a tire store.

We will need to have a few people volunteer to leave their cars at Tumwater Falls Park and carpool up to Pioneer Park so we can get drivers back to their vehicles after the float (8 minute drive).

We will meet at Pioneer Park at 1:30 and figure out the car situation.

Afterwards we will mingle and play frisbee in the park.
