How come I didn't realize there was a freakin' message board? I would love to go to concerts--actually going to David Rawlings Machine with a couple friends at Oly Film Society next week. Think there are still tickets left (open seating) if anyone wants to join. I often go for the more folk-y shows, but I heart arena rock sometimes. :) Saw Radiohead (my FAVORITE) and Pearl Jam recently-- I would definitely be up for the Muse/Silversun Pickups show! I just posted the same message on the South Sound 20s & 30s board so Carlos can read it twice. :)

I just posted the same message on the South Sound 20s & 30s board so Carlos can read it twice. :) You actually changed the ending of the message, thought u were gonna just copy and paste the whole thing . Yeah, there is a message board (I see you don't read my emails when I announce new stuff posted on the message board , I'm probably marked as spam lol), which could be really fun if more people participate =)When did you go see radiohead? I have an acoustic version of creep that touches my heart (lol) For those who like Aaron Lewis of Staind, he's playing a solo show on Saturday, March 20th @ Snoqualmie Ballroom. I went to one of his acoustic solo shows in Miami and it was pretty good. His lyrics are kinda depressing but it was still good =) |

Funny, Carlos, funny. :) Saw Radiohead at White River last summer (as in, summer of '08). They have been my favorite band since forever (Pablo Honey was the first CD I ever bought), but the first time I saw them live was at Earls Court Arena on the Kid A tour when I was living in London (had to throw that in there).
I think I disabled the msg board updates for my meetups b/c I was getting lots of pointless stuff from the hiking group . . . now I'll pay attention! |

tickets for these two events are on sale already:
For Muse and Silversun Pickups:
Seating chart: ![]() For Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown and Sick puppies (this concert will be bad ass ):
Seating chart: ![]() Let me know how close to the stage you prefer to be for both concerts and if you prefer to buy seat tickets or just general admission tickets. I have no preference, but for the nickelback concert, I would suggest to get seat tickets; it will probably get crazy at the GA floor ![]() |

We want to go to the Nickelback, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown and Sick puppies concert. We'd prefer reserved seating in 7A, 8A, 16A or 17A.
I don't think we'll be able to do Muse/Silversun Pickups because we're taking a road trip at the end of April that we'll be saving for until then. |

Saw Radiohead at White River last summer (as in, summer of '08) White River...as in White River Amphitheatre? I worked there for 2 summers...or maybe 3...but I left after 2006, so I was definitely not there for Radiohead. |

Carlos, this is a great idea! I love to go to concerts, mostly in smaller venues, and watch local bands in bars. The hard part is finding someone who is both available AND interested. I'm most interested in hard rock and metal. I look forward to meeting up with the group!

I was kind of surprised they played there, but it was a fantastic show and visually stunning, even from the top of the grass area. |
